3D Web Catchers

Studio

We catch ideas and put them on the web.

3D Web Catchers is a web design and development studio led by Danny Guarnieri, building digital homes for brands that want craft, clarity, and a little wonder.

How we work

Small studio, direct communication. You talk to the person building your site, not an account manager relaying messages to someone you never meet. Questions get answered by whoever actually knows the answer, which keeps decisions fast and the work honest.

We take a limited number of projects at a time so each one gets proper attention. That is also why the first call is a genuine conversation rather than a pitch: if the timing, the budget, or the fit is wrong, it is better for both of us to know in twenty minutes than three weeks in.

Every project gets the same treatment regardless of budget — a real design phase, a real performance budget, and a real accessibility pass before launch. Work is scoped in writing and priced flat, and you approve the design before anything gets built.

What we build with

The stack is deliberately narrow. Depth in a few tools beats a shallow familiarity with twenty, and it means the site you are handed is one someone can still reason about a year from now.

  • Next.js and React with TypeScript, rendered on the server so search engines and slow connections both get real content.
  • React Three Fiber and Three.js for real-time 3D, when a project calls for it.
  • Tailwind CSS for styling that stays consistent as a site grows.
  • Managed infrastructure behind nginx, with TLS, security headers, caching, and compression configured rather than assumed.

Standards we hold to

Most of what separates a good build from an average one is invisible until it fails. These are the parts we do not negotiate on, and this site is the evidence — every claim below is something you can verify on the page you are reading.

  • Text paints first. Headlines are not hidden behind JavaScript animations, so your message is readable before scripts finish loading.
  • No unnecessary third parties. Fonts and 3D lighting are served from our own infrastructure, so no external outage can delay your page.
  • Real HTML underneath. Semantic headings, labelled form fields, visible focus states, and keyboard-reachable navigation.
  • Motion preferences respected. Visitors who ask their system to reduce motion get a calmer version automatically.
  • Measurement from day one. Analytics wired to track enquiries, not just pageviews, because leads are the number that matters.

Why 3D?

Most websites look the same because most websites are built from the same templates. A visitor who has seen four competitors before yours is not reading carefully — they are scanning for a reason to stop. Real-time 3D is one of the few ways left to give them one that a competitor cannot copy in an afternoon.

It is a tool, though, not a personality. Done carelessly it becomes a heavy, stuttering page that costs you the visitor it was meant to impress. We budget performance from the first scene, ship a lighter version to phones automatically, and use 3D where it earns its place — saying so plainly when it does not.

If you want to see what we mean rather than read about it, the full-screen dream catcher runs live in your browser, and the build breakdown explains how it stays fast.

When we will tell you no

A studio that agrees with everything is not being helpful. We will push back when a request would make your site slower without making it better, when 3D is being added for its own sake, or when the thing you have asked for solves a different problem than the one you described. You are paying for judgement as much as for execution.

We will also turn down work that is a poor fit — the wrong timing, a scope that cannot be done well for the budget, or a project that would be better served by a tool you could buy off the shelf. Nobody benefits from a build that was compromised before it started.

Work with us

Tell us what you are building and we will come back with a scope, a timeline, and a flat price. No obligation, and no sales sequence afterwards.
